About Elliott Farm Equipment Ltd.
Elliott Farm Equipment Ltd. is the authorized dealer for industry-leading equipment brands including Massey Ferguson, ASV, Gehl, and others throughout Ottawa and the surrounding region.
With two established locations and a growing customer base, we are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Equipment Sales Representative to join our team and help drive continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find the right equipment solutions for their operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage and grow customer accounts through regular contact and follow-up
- Conduct on-site customer visits and equipment demonstrations
- Prepare quotations, negotiate sales, and close equipment deals
- Maintain and update sales leads, opportunities, and customer records
- Understand and manage sales performance, margins, and profitability
- Collaborate closely with our Parts and Service departments to support customers
- Represent Elliott Farm Equipment at trade shows, community events, and manufacturer training sessions
- Utilize email, social media, CRM systems, and other technology tools to support sales activities
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, email, and social media
Preferred
- Bilingual (English and French)
- College or university education in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in agricultural, construction, equipment, or related sales
- Strong knowledge of agricultural or construction equipment and machinery operation
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $30,000 – $40,000, based on experience
- Uncapped commission earning potential
